Sinful Boogie Nights

The other day we went to Wegmans for some grocery shopping. In the middle of all the “What should we have for dinner” mania, I spotted it. A whole rack of nail polishes for 2 dollars a pop. I should explain, nail polishes in Sweden typical range from 10 dollars to 25 dollars depending on brand. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bottle for less than 4 dollars and those are typically sample bottles. So when I saw these, I had to have at least one color.

Normally I don’t go for the pink’ish colors, but for 2 dollars I thought I’d give it a try. This is Sinful Colors; Boogie Nights with a Sally Hansen Insta-Dri top coat. I actually found the top coat at Marshall’s for 2 dollars the same day, so it was all around win for me.

I’ve never tried the Sinful Colors brand before and I have to say it’s a little runnier than I like. Maybe it’s just this color though, I don’t know. I like the color, this is two coats and it did the job pretty well.

The Sally Hansen top coat really did dry super fast, maybe not the two minutes promised, but fast enough for me. I can’t say yet how it holds to chips, we’ll see in a week I guess.

  1. I love Sinful Colors! The consistency between colors is not great, as some are definitely thinner and runnier than others. It’s hit or miss, but for the price, I’m happy! I top them off with Seche Vite top coat, which can make any brand look good. Also, if you’re near a Walgreens now, they often have Sinful Colors on sale for $0.99!
